Kennedys is looking for a Senior Associate to work as part of our global Latin America and the Caribbean team with a focus on D&O and Financial and Political Risks matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in business development from the outset and work very closely with our LatAm hub in Miami on all matters.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded Insurance team and the role could be based in either London or Madrid.
Kennedys’ Financial and Political Risks handle a vast range of insurance disputes and litigation, with a particular focus on Financial Institutions, Directors & Officers Insurance, and Political Risks and Crime coverage. Our clients include general insurers and reinsurers, global composites, Lloyd’s syndicates, self-insured PLCs and self-insuring government bodies.

- 6+ years’ qualified Solicitor with the relevant experience*
- Spanish and English language skills are essential
- Financial Institutions, D&O, Political risks and Crime coverage experience is preferable
- Experience of coverage insurance litigation
- Business development experience
- Advisory experience – providing clear, concise advice to clients.
